About the Role – DA Centre Supervisor
We are currently looking for a DA Centre Supervisor to join our Maritime business area.
This role is key in ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant processing of Disbursement Accounts (DAs) within our DA Centre operations.
Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities
- DA Processing Oversight: Supervise daily DA processing activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established SOPs.
- Workflow & Task Coordination: Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of DA-related outputs.
- Documentation & Data Verification: Review DA documents, verify accuracy of charges and data, and ensure documentation completeness and audit readiness.
- Issue Identification & Resolution: Handle operational queries, discrepancies, and irregularities, escalating complex cases to the DA Centre Manager as needed.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on DA submissions to maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.
- KPI Support: Assist in the preparation and tracking of performance dashboards and metrics.
- SOP Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to DA procedures and operational guidelines.
People Management
- Team Leadership: Provide day‑to‑day supervision, motivation, and guidance to assigned staff.
- Coaching & Development: Support training, onboarding, and capability development within the DA Centre team.
- Performance Monitoring: Track individual performance and contribute to formal performance evaluations.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Encourage teamwork, cross‑training, and best‑practice sharing.
- Resource Allocation: Contribute to workload planning and resource distribution aligned with operational needs.
Strategic & Governance Responsibilities
- Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and propose process enhancements to the DA Centre Manager.
- Governance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit‑related activities.
- Operational Alignment: Ensure daily workflow outcomes align with service‑quality expectations and governance requirements.
Minimum requirements
Educational Background
- Degree or vocational qualification in Finance, Maritime Services, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Knowledge of maritime finance and DA operations is an advantage.
- Experience working in SOP‑driven, audit‑ready environments is preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in DA processing, maritime finance, logistics finance, or similar operational finance roles.
- Experience in a senior operator or supervisory role preferred.
- Background in workflow coordination, documentation validation, quality control, and discrepancy resolution.
- Understanding of audit and governance requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of DA processing, verification, and workflow coordination.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation accuracy.
- Solid problem‑solving and issue‑escalation capabilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
