Job Purpose:

The Marketing Lead, Automotive is responsible for acting as the single marketing point of contact for Maritime Cluster’s Automotive businesses. The role works with the Automotive Strategy & Growth team to translate business strategy and commercial requirements into effective marketing and communications plans. It ensures that Automotive capabilities, assets, and value propositions are clearly articulated, consistently positioned, and actively promoted across internal and external channels.

Working in close alignment with the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, Automotive and the Automotive commercial teams, the role supports commercial growth, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring compliance with Group Marketing & Communication policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Plans

Develop and own the annual and marketing plan for Automotive, ensuring alignment with cluster and Group strategic priorities. This includes identifying priority markets, key service lines/business offerings, target audiences, and campaign objectives in coordination with the commercial teams.


Content Development & Messaging

Develop high‑quality marketing content, including press releases, social media content and speaking notes to support the commercial team.

Work with global teams to provide translations and culturally acceptable marketing and market positions

Ensure that all content reflects AD Ports Group brand positioning, tone of voice, and approved messaging frameworks.

Develop corporate presentation materials to support presentation to clients and stakeholders

Ensure all marketing assets for Automotive including stationary, photographs, videos, and corporate presentations are up to date.


Campaigns, Events & Budget Management

Create an annual events plan including where required sponsorships and exhibitions with associated budgets

Manage marketing campaigns, industry events, exhibitions, and sponsorship activities relevant to Automotive. This includes tracking budgets, monitoring return on investment, and ensuring spend is aligned with approved marketing plans and event calendars.


External Communications & Digital Presence

Develop external communications for Automotive in coordination with Group and Cluster Communications teams. This includes press releases, announcements, digital campaigns, and social media content, ensuring a consistent and professional external profile across owned and earned channels.


Governance & Policy Compliance

Act as the focal point for all AD Ports Brand guidelines.

Ensure all marketing and communications activities comply with AD Ports Group Marketing & Communication Policy, brand guidelines, and approval processes, working closely with Group Marketing & Communications as required.

Minimum requirements


  • Degree in Marketing & Business Administration.
  • 10–15 years of experience in B2B marketing, with international exposure and experience in cross-cultural environments.
  • Experience in maritime, logistics, energy, or industrial sectors (preferred).
  • Strong expertise in integrated marketing, content development, and campaign execution, combined with experience managing budgets, events, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills, with executive‑level content focus & ability to translate technical services into clear value propositions.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
