The Operations Executive is responsible to handle daily shipping operations of domestic and international clients by providing quick, quality and timely service. This person needs to organize internal coordination between departments, branches and external resources and provide support for business development department.
- Coordinate and manage the daily shipping operations, monitor and track shipments to ensure timely report, smooth and efficient delivery, resolve any issues that arise during transit. Liaise with clients, agents, other stakeholders and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and review shipping documents. Maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to shipping operations. Communicate effectively and respond timely to clients to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns.
- Monitor and control shipping costs to ensure operations are conducted within budget. Negotiate rates with service providers, vendors and partners to achieve cost savings.
- Fully follow the company SOP and other regulations. Fulfill daily operations work within the requested KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.
- Provide timely and efficient support to business development to achieve business promotion and help maintain relationships with clients.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in shipping, logistics, international trading, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in international shipping or trading operations.
- Experienced candidates with more than 5 years of experience in similar capacity may be considered for senior role.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping/trading.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in written and verbal English.
