The Regional Head, LCL, Asia is responsible for driving the strategic, commercial, and operational performance of the LCL product across Asia. This role oversees network development, profitability, procurement, and service quality, ensuring competitive and scalable LCL solutions are aligned with global standards and regional market dynamics.
Strategy & Growth:
- Define and execute the regional LCL strategy to drive volume growth, market share, and profitability.
- Identify new trade lanes, consolidation hubs, and growth opportunities across Asia.
- Align regional initiatives with global LCL and ocean freight strategies.
Commercial Performance:
- Own P&L for LCL operations across the regions in Asia
- Support large RFQs and strategic customer tenders
- Support commercial to develop LCL business across Asia
Network & Product Development:
- Develop and optimize the LCL network, including gateways, consolidation points, and feeder connections.
- Enhance transit times, reliability, and service offerings.
Procurement Management:
- Lead procurement and negotiations with NVOCC partners.
- Ensure cost competitiveness and service commitments are achieved.

Operations & Performance Management:
- Oversee operational KPIs including transit times, rollovers, utilization, and service reliability.
- Ensure compliance with global standards, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with country organizations, global teams, and functional stakeholders.
- Act as the key interface between regional and global LCL leadership.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional LCL team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent field.
- 10+ years of experience in ocean freight, freight forwarding, or logistics, with strong exposure to LCL products.
- Strong understanding of Asian trade lanes and logistics networks.
- Experience in carrier, NVOCC negotiations and procurement.
- Leadership experience managing regional or multi-country teams.
