Senior Project / Program Manager - Executive Leadership projects/programs

As part of our continued growth and transformation journey, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project / Programme Manager to join our Strategy Execution & Chief of Staff team and drive strategic, high-impact initiatives across the Logistics business.

About the role:

The Senior Project / Programme Manager plays a critical leadership role, partnering directly with executive leadership to drive complex, cross-functional programmes from strategy through execution. This position serves as the single point of accountability for major strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment, governance, and measurable business outcomes across the organization.

Success in this role requires exceptional programme management capabilities, executive stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence and lead without formal authority in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsabilities:

Executive Programme Steering

• Define, structure, and lead strategic programmes with direct executive sponsorship.
• Act as the single source of truth for programme status, risks, decisions, and progress.
• Prepare and facilitate executive steering committees (C-level comitees).
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery roadmaps and milestones.

• Develop executive-level materials that support informed decision-making.
• Facilitate fact-based discussions across functions, regions, and business units.
• Align senior stakeholders around common objectives and priorities.
• Escalate and help resolve critical business trade-offs.

Programme Execution & Governance

• Ensure delivery against agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and governance standards.
• Establish programme reporting structures, KPIs, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
• Drive accountability and execution discipline across initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Transformation

• Coordinate collaboration across multiple business units and regions.
• Lead enterprise-wide initiatives without hierarchical authority.
• Support transformational projects, operating model evolution, and digital initiatives.
• Ensure sustainable adoption and long-term business impact.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Project/Programme Management or Strategy Execution.
• At least 5 years leading complex cross-functional, enterprise-level initiatives.
• Minimum 3 years engaging with executive-level stakeholders, including Board and Executive Committee members.

Technical Expertise

• Expert knowledge of Project and Programme Management.
• Advanced experience in Strategy Execution and Business Transformation.
• Advanced Executive Stakeholder Management capabilities.
• Advanced Risk and Dependency Management.
• Financial and Operational Analysis skills.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications are desirable.
