About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manager or Senior Manager, Strategy Execution & Operational Excellence to join our Asia regional team. This role will work closely with the Regional Chief of Staff and Asia Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives, transformation programs, operational excellence projects, and post-merger integration activities across multiple countries in Asia.

The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to regional leadership, ensuring that strategic priorities are effectively translated into actionable plans and measurable business outcomes. This individual must be comfortable operating in a highly matrixed environment, coordinating across countries and functions, and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive accountability and execution.

Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain management, contract logistics is strongly preferred, as the role will support business initiatives spanning operations, commercial functions, integration programs, and organizational transformation across the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy Execution & PMO

  • Support the execution of regional strategic priorities and leadership initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, project plans, and initiative tracking mechanisms.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional and cross-country initiatives to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, management reports, and presentations for regional and global leadership.
  • Drive follow-up and execution discipline on agreed action plans and strategic priorities.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and business performance.
  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices across the region.
  • Facilitate problem-solving workshops, root cause analysis, and process optimization efforts.
  • Develop and track operational KPIs and performance improvement plans.
  • Support standardization efforts and continuous improvement programs.

Transformation & Post-Merger Integration

  • Support regional transformation, business improvement, and post-merger integration initiatives.
  • Coordinate integration workstreams across countries and functions.
  • Maintain project governance, milestone tracking, and synergy realization reports.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and escalation items to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support organizational change management and stakeholder communications.

Executive & Leadership Support

  • Support monthly business reviews, quarterly leadership meetings, strategy workshops, and governance forums.
  • Prepare executive presentations, business cases, briefing notes, and decision-support materials.
  • Conduct business analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making.
  • Manage action tracking and follow-up across leadership teams.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Consolidate and analyze business, operational, and financial performance data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Generate actionable insights to support business improvement and strategic decision-making.
  • Support reporting standardization and data governance initiatives across the region.

Minimum requirements

Role requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • MBA or relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in Strategy, PMO, Operational Excellence, Business Transformation, Consulting, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management.
  • Proven experience managing regional or cross-functional projects in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, contract logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of freight forwarding operations, customer solutions, operational processes, and commercial dynamics is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting transformation, integration, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Prior consulting experience (Big 4 or strategy consulting firms) is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong project management and governance capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Contract Logistics, Customs Brokerage, and Inland Transportation is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
